Why I Hate PETA

"Mr. McVeigh's decision to go vegetarian groups him with some of the world's greatest visionaries, including Albert Schweitzer, Mohandas Gandhi, Leo Tolstoy and Albert Einstein, all of whom advocated vegetarianism as an extension of humanitarianism."

This quote is attributed to current PETA vice president Bruce Friedrich, and is (seriously) referring to Oklahoma City Federal Building bomber Timmothy McVeigh's decision on two pints of mint chocolate chip ice cream as his last meal before being executed in 2001.

Grouping Gandhi, Einstein, and the man responsible for the second biggest terrorist attack on American soil, together... way to go PETA, for focusing on the important issues!
